PIANO FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS

The main objective is to develop specific knowledges and necessary technical resources.

- Classes comprise a practical and useful method, either for those ones studying the instrument for the first time, or for those ones with medium or advanced level.

- The program of studies is personalized for each student, according to his/her preferences and objectives.

- Repertory comprises all music genres, but basically, the classic style.


SINGING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS

The main objective, for each student, is to develop a complete knowledge of his/her vocal resources and possibilities

Classes are given individually or in small groups, working on vocal techniques and with a repertory of classic and popular music.

Main program’s themes are:

- Techniques for correct respiration and body position (respiration by diaphragm)
- Relaxation exercises.
- Vocal techniques and interpretation (air control, voice collocation and projection)
- Recognizing each student’s vocal register.
- Preparation for auditions and concerts.

 

MUSICAL EDUCATION

- Auditive recognition (Development of auditive perception and musical thinking by recognizing small or long intervallic distances.

- Rhythms reproduction and creation.

- Melodic and rhythmic improvisation (imitation, question-answer or variations).

- Instruments. Family of instruments. Sounds.

- Paintings by means of music.

- Rimes and rhythms (Reciting poems and tongue-twisters)

- Dance by means of music (Developing rhythmic security, sense of temporal space and dynamic sensations through body movements)

- Use of voice. (Discovering voice possibilities as an instrument)

- Stories also have dreams (It's a session for children to use stories for making scene performances, dance and sing.)

 

SOLFEGE

Main objectives are:

- To develop each student’s internal ear and his/her sense of rhythm.
- To achieve a good mind-body coordination. (Using human body as a musical instrument.)
- To sing in tune.
- To put in practice solfege lessons when playing any instrument.


CHORUS

Main objectives are:

- To develop, by means of coral singing, children’s musical abilities.
- To educate their voices.
- To obtain a socio-cultural integration.
- To make children enjoy their selves, playing and singing using body expressions.
- To get success in music presentations and concerts, that is our main goal.

The program includes a wide repertory comprising different music styles, from traditional to classical children songs and the most interesting feature of the program is the variety of languages (Spanish, German, French, English among others).
